Denise Driscoll

Denise Driscoll is a contemporary American painter who creates abstract representations of interconnection, human and otherwise. Her paintings are expansive accumulations of mark, line and form that often include metallic and iridescent colors that shift and shimmer in changing light. Her painting process generates compositions that emerge as each added layer obscures and illuminates what lies below. Driscoll’s paintings are liminal spaces that explore the invisible organization of life.

Denise Driscoll participated in the AREA CODE Art Fair 2020, is a SOLO2017 winner at Bromfield Gallery, a Curatorial Opportunity Grant awardee at the New Art Center, and her work has been shown throughout New England and is collected widely. Driscoll earned her MFA in Visual Art at Lesley Art + Design, where she later taught. She lives and works in the large artist community at Western Avenue Studios & Lofts in Lowell, MA.
