Art Kleinman

My work represents a culmination of several years of paintings based on a structural grid. All imagery deals only with right angles, with a subtle nod to the figure. In spite of using rigid geometry, an anthropomorphic element is suggested. The attitude of the figures indicates motion and vitality. The palette is vibrant and chosen for its emphasis on shallow spatial relationships.
